the WALL tool

May be helpful as you start to model the existing student union building.

1. select the pen tool

2. the type should be set to polygon

3. set wall mode to inner / outer / or both sides / whatever you prefer (in order to turn the wall mode on you must uncheck make quads)

4. select the offset dimensions....
