Lynne Tainter. Ammar Eloueini Talk

Ammar Eloueini discussed many interesting aspects of his designs and projects using polycarbonate, Corian, and other products. The forms and designs of his projects included many facets and subdivisions that are similar to the project I am doing for the Student Union bridge project. His use of deforming and reconstructing his objects into different objects will be helpful when designing a space that can be used by students in the student union. His projects were very unique and thought-provoking. I think that the different products that he used primarily polycarbonate and Corian, and how he had to test and practice with the products before he could successfully build a project was helpful advice when we have to build our models. The different forms that he created including furniture, sculpture, hanging devices, and models used different sizes or polygons and lines. Some of the projects were very complex while others were very simple. For our project, I gained many ideas about how the simplicity and cleanness of a space can often say the most about a design or project.
